The dogwood has come and gone. They were beautiful as were all the early

I saw families in NW NC that moved west right after the Civil War (War

for those who are still sensitivve) What I also learned was that two
brothers fought on opposite
sides.
You also realize that the economics of the south after the war were not
"positive" - to say the least.
I do hope that the dogwood is in bloom, it was beautiful when I was
there a few "springs" ago.
