A service of the Northern Neck Audubon Society---
My red morph screech owl is back! He/she may never leave, but I usually only
see her once it gets cold. She roosts in my Martin house down by the dock and I
always see her on a sunny afternoon. Her little head is sticking out and she
just seems to be basking in the warm sun. This is the sixth or seventh year
that she has been keeping warm in my Martin house!
No ducks yet, but I have seen several grebes in my little Cove and on
Robinson's Creek which is just up river from Urbanna on the Rappahannock River.
