Vanguard does look pretty cool.

"not even in beta" - SWG took $30 million to produce, WOW will probably top
$60 million. So these better get some deep pockets going if they are
serious. I see thay are affilitaed with Microsoft, so if Billy really wants
to bank roll them they should be OK. In any case, this game is 5 years out
at least. They say it will be Generation 3 MMPORG, but Generation 2 (WoW and
EQ2) hasnt been released yet.

I read the latest game magazine reviews of WoW. Looks nice. Still gonna be a
long time before release though, if they stick to their "we wont release it
until its done" promise. Their PVP sux as it is right now, though they will
probably fix it. Their are too many cases you can be attacked, as well as
quest critical NPC's. I'm never gonna play a game thats fekked up with PC's
attacking me and/or my quest NPC's.
