3 Detroit students charged after school computers hacked and grades changed

Three students of Lincoln Park High School in Lincoln Park, Michigan, have
been charged with cracking their school's computer to change their grades
and attendance records, as well as creating a website telling other
students how they can change their grades. The investigation began after a
series of burglaries at the school, in which several computers were stolen.
School district officials also believe that the youths installed a
keylogger to steal passwords from the computers. The trio is also accused
of changing course requirements and stealing other students' work. If
convicted, each student faces five years in prison and up to $10,000 in fines.
