Wanted: top hackers as trackers

Australia's New South Wales (NSW) police force is seeking to recruit 20
computer specialists from the private sector for its new State Electronic
Evidence Branch. The new unit will be within the police Special Service
Group and will focus on collecting and analyzing electronic evidence linked
to terrorist suspects. The recruits will serve as designated special
constables, and will receive salaries commensurate with their high-tech
skills. To supplement existing IT knowledge, the cyber recruits will
receive training in computer forensics.
