Hi All,
My movie "Standing in the Shadows of Motown"
won both Grammys!
1) BEST COMPILATION SOUNDTRACK ALBUM:
Standing In the Shadows of Motown - Various Artists
2) BEST TRADITIONAL R&B VOCAL PERFORMANCE:
" What's Going On" - Chaka Khan & The Funk Brothers

We were there for the 4 PM ceremony seated in
front of the stage for the private ceremony then moved to
a different location for the live show that aired at 7:30
The Funks were the first category announced and they won!
They their 2nd grammy was announced about 1 1/2 hours later.
If only The Funk Brothers had played . . . .
now THAT would have been something!
