Subject: [WWWEDU] PROF DEV: This Week At TAPPED IN April 13, 2003

After School Online (ASO) is a forum for educators. The scheduled
events, designed for professional development, are open to everyone in
the TAPPED IN community and all guests.

You can get a sneak preview of the new system (dubbed TI2) in some of
the ASO sessions this month including several TI2 Tours and Tips.
This week's featured events for ESL/EFL teachers and learners include
the Saturday and Sunday WebHeads and a Sunday EuroLang discussion with
guest speaker Kajetan Rodak. If you're interested in becoming a Helpdesk
Volunteer for TAPPED IN, then mark your calendar for Monday or Friday's
Watercooler Confab. Tuesday brings the new Publishing Your Work,
JigsawHelper, and the Big6 with Ferdi Serim. Language Arts continues the
discussion of online books on Wednesday. Thursday is packed with the
Benkyoukai, Library of Congress Learning Pages, WebQuests and Blogging,
WebTools, and the Special Education Forum...wow! Events marked (TI2)
will be held in the TI2 system.

NOTE: If you are a member of TAPPED IN, your current user name and
password WILL NOT WORK in TAPPED IN, Version 2 (TI2). You must sign up
for a new account!
**********************
If you are new to TAPPED IN, please login 10 minutes before the ASO
event is scheduled to begin. This will allow the helpdesk volunteers to
get you where you need to be.
