Movable Type is an intuitive and free web-based software system for blogs
or newsletters. I use it to publish my Best of History Web Sites
newsletter as well as student-produced history journal.  Articles can be
easily archived by month or category and visitors, related links can be
added, and there are forms for visitor comments. There is even a search
engine.  Furthermore, it could be used to publish photographs in an online
gallery.
