Subject: [Net-Gold] Updates on Modules in Universal Design for Learning,
    Cultural Diversity (Multiculturalism), and Mentoring

Aloha. As many of you know, my name is Steve Brown, and I'm an Associate
Professor at the University of Hawaii at Manoa Center on Disability Studies
of the College of Education, and the Project Coordinator for a project
funded by the U.S. Dept. of Education, Office of Postsecondary Education,
called Students with Disabilities as Diverse Learners project (
www.ist.hawaii.edu).

Before I go any further, let me apologize for cross-postings. But I hope you
will think it's worth it to be able to take a look at (and download and use)
our most recent PowerPoint modules on the three topics of Universal Design
for Learning, Cultural Diversity (Multiculturalism), and Mentoring, all
related to postsecondary education. In addition, we have developed html
pages for each of these topics, which are screen-reader compatible. Our hope
is these 2 formats will enable the module to be accessible to, and usable,
by everyone.

To go to the modules, copy or click the following URL:

http://www.ist.hawaii.edu/modules/

At this page, you can both download the Powerpoints and be directed to the
html modules.

Please let me know if you have questions, comments, or feedback! I'm at:
sebrown@xxxxxxxxxx or call 808-956-0996.

Thanks so much!
Steve
