[USS Vanguard] OoC: Alec's New Role

Hello, all. Hope your holidays went well. It's back to work for us, but
before we begin, two short announcements:
1. Congratulations to Alec (Sam McCaw), who's accepted his new position
of Operations Manager. I'm sorry I overlooked making that part of the
ceremony in Event Horizon, but if you're waiting to wait until next
time, I'm sure we can find something special for him!
2. We have a new crew member joining us in Medical, but since we've
been out of touch lately, I'm waiting to see where to take her from
here. In the meantime, her bio is up on the Web site under Medical.
Check it out.
We'll be getting started this week. Hope you enjoy the mission as much
as we enjoyed crafting it.
