Kyle Kittelberger, Nancy Williamson and myself did some day-lepping at
Weymouth Woods on 6/4.
1 Clover Hayworm
1 The Beggar
1 Corn Earworm
1 Painted Lichen Moth
1 Dark Lichen Moth
1 Half-yellow
1 Confused Meganola
1 0686.97, undescribed Parornix sp.
2 Elegant Grass Veneer
15 Black-bordered Lemon Moth
10 Hollow-spotted Blepharomastrix
6 Yellow-spotted Webworm
1 Confused Eusarca
3 White slant-line
50 Spotted Datana (larva)
4 grapeleaf skeletonizer
1 Soft-lined Wave
1 Melanocinclis lineigera (lifer)
1 Menesta melanella (lifer, 1st state park record)
1 Pseudanthracia coracias (lifer, great burnt bark mimic!)
1 Comspoterix sp in a seep that got away before photos
1 Caloptilia sp, mostly all gray
and a few other micro moths I still need to work on. Lots of good odes,
hoppers and spiders too.
