Moth'ers, There's been a steady stream of new arrivals the past ten days or so. Here are a few of the ones that have showed up in the last couple of nights. 1) Straight-lined Plagodis (Plagodis phlogosaria) #6842; the pink and green bands fooled me at first but apparently this species is quite variable 2) Smaller Parasa (Parasa chloris) #4698; a very cool slug moth 3) Tufted Thyatirin (Pseudothyatira cymatophoroides) #6237 -- J. Merrill Lynch Echo Valley Farm Watauga County, NC Elevation: 3,400 feet
