Paul,  Your #1 is definitely not Dioryctria which have a distinct jagged
white medial line across the forewing.  Could be Laetitia or one of the
Sciotas or even possibly Acrobasis--don't have time to look up.  Your #2
looks like 4945 Crocidophora tuberculalis.
