Okay, I've found the culprit. The code
parsing the output of 

        jack_lsp -Ap

isn't doing a satisfactory job. I've threatened
it with a pay cut, penalties and legal action,
but it says it just wants to be loved. :-)

Hope to soon remove this logjam to your creative work.
