It's a human-engineered scam focused on Windows users. I've had to clean up 
more than one of these. The web site says you have spyware and directs you to 
purchase software to get rid of it. You then pay for a program that is spyware 
and it starts adding more spyware to your system. Of course this is all on 
Windows, so if you have a dual-boot system make sure your Windows is protected.
