I do not have iLife  of any form and have heard that there is no real  
improvement in '09 over '08 so should I get '08 which I imagine would  
be cheaper (being now obsolete?) ?  Are there any real advantages  
over Appleworks which I have and I understand has been replaced by  
iLife?
