I figured that eventually they would but I would have to spend half an eternity on hold to receive it. I sent an email to Adobe before I knew that time machine's recovered disk was going to still be activated and they replied, on the weekend to their credit, but this is the reply "You still have another activation per our End User License Agreement, so you should be able to reinstall it. If you do run into activation problems, your reason is justified, and you will be able to contact our Activation Department for assistance with this issue. They can be reached at (866) 772-3623, and representatives are available 6:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday # Saturday, Pacific Time. " I guess I understand their side in that if they make it too easy to ask for another installation there is nothing to prevent you from installing it on more machines than the agreement stipulates.
