Hello Paul.
The second generation iBooks (the white ones) have a video out port. The
port resembles a USB output, but comes with an adapter that has a VGA output
on the end. You can easily mirror your desktop onto another monitor using
the video out on the iBook. I just tried this on a 500Mhz iBook last week,
using a 19" Diamondtron CRT and it looked great.
