Since i bought a macbook i don't need this anymore...while it only runs windoze
and linux it may be of interest to those who need the occassional windows
application for work....I bought it earlier this year as i had to teach using
some windows stuff. Absolutely mint condition. Give yourselft a christmas
present!
Acer Aspire 3000

comes with a legal and licensed copy of Microsoft Windows with all the
downloads, updates, service packs, patches and security stuff installalled.
Even has IE 7, although i've not used it as i prefer Firefox.
Comes with the Acer original CD's and documentation and i even have the box
somewhere. And it also comes with a very high quality samsonite laptop bag.
It also has has ubuntu and red hat linux installed and they run inside windows
using VMware. You can download and run any OS that has a vmware image or create
your own.
Since this was used for work it has things like Framemaker SGML, Adobe
Photoshop Elements, Hummingbird eXceed, Ms Office 2003, mySQL, Apache, Netscan
Tools Pro, Norton Systemworks, Roxio media creator, Camtasia Studio (w Snagit),
Xmetal XML editor, SSH, Vmware workstation, Netobjects Fusion, Macromedia
Studio 8 (fireworks, flash, contribute, dreamweaver), PHP, HTML Help workshop,
Robohelp, PHP, IMail SMTP email server, winrar, ethereal, winpcap, etc etc.
Since I'm going to keep the CD's for those application programs you need to
uninstall the commercial programs from the machine.
