Hmm... I don't know if you as a regular user are allowed to change, or even view, the profile settings as this is a domain admin Active Directory-privilege. I still insist och checking with your Sysadmin on this. You can however check your downloaded profile on your own computer for a file called ntuser.man. If it's there, your user account is using a mandatory profile and no changes will be saved, while if there is a ntuser.dat file, any settings you make to your profile will/should be saved upon logoff. -- /Sorin >-----Original Message----- >From: mswindowsxp-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:mswindowsxp- >bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Mike Rouillard >Sent: Monday, March 15, 2010 2:40 PM >To: mswindowsxp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx >Subject: [mswindowsxp] Re: windows xp with roming profiles > >Yes, but he goes to a lot of different buildings and is not often >available. >Thanks! > >-----Original Message----- >From: Sorin Srbu <sorin.srbu@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> >To: 'Mike Rouillard' <rouillardmike@xxxxxxx> >Sent: Mon, Mar 15, 2010 3:28 am >Subject: RE: [mswindowsxp] Re: windows xp with roming profiles > >Do you have a sysadmin at your place?
