Thanks for the information, now I've got a new thing to learn, and it's
always a good day when that happens. Well, to think of it, I guess every day
is a good one since I'm always seeming to be lacking in some knowledge that
is obtained. Sound like a real nurd don't I?
What I want to do is to collect email addresses from a criminal law page,
and to reestablish my addressbook entries for all the legislative personnel
to whom I write, and I don't want to have to go through the tedeous task of
doing it the way I did before. What I want to do is collect the 24 items,
and then paste them all at the same time into a document templet that I can
then use to copy and paste email addresses into the BCC field or whatever.
I've used this technique when gathering legal information where an issue may
span several pages, and there are footnotes at the end of each page.
Generally, I will copy the entire page, then delete the headers and footers
below the footnotes, and then cut the footnotes section into the clipboard
and making sure to remove the other items that were copied, I clean up what
I don't need, and then I paste the footnotes at the bottom of the document
as a whole rather than having one page with footnotes, then the next page
with it's footnotes, and so forth. I do it this way so that all the
footnotes are alltogether. I imagine that there is an easier way to do this,
but it would probably be the only way to collect the email addresses I need.
I need to contact about 300 lawyers at once, and all I can say is that it
couldn't even be accomplished without email. I also lobby to Congress for
victims of judicial and police misconduct, corruption and/or abuse, and
therefore when I send something to one elected representative I send it also
to the entire legislative body. Sometimes that included sending a message to
535 people.

Sorry for the lengthy explanative.

Rex
