Just to be clear Robert, every time you start Outlook, you can open Task=
Manager and see nine instances running? If so, that's bizarre!

That is exactly correct. I am not a Microsoft engineer by any means, but I=
have been trained in programming and repairs. I can think of nothing to=
cause this, and nothing to do to stop it. It is freaky to me. If MS Word=
and MS Excel were to do the same thing, I can think of a cause, but not=
just Outlook alone.
Norton says I am ok. Spybot says I am ok.
