Hey lady...

I've been using OL 2003 for months, but I didn't have any problem. What =
I
did when I started was just start a new mail folder and then passed the =
old
stuff into a folder called c:\DianMail...where I keep lots of other
separate/backup pst files. Then...when I needed to check some recent =
mail, I
would click File/Open Data File and pull up the other pst file which had =
my
most recent general mail. For the few folders I wanted to have current =
in
the new one, I pulled them or some of the most recent emails over to the =
new
folder.=20

Granted...for a bit after I stared with 2003, I kept both the new and =
old
folder in the list so I could easily go back to check the last mail and
reply. But soon...the old folder was old news and I was able to close =
it.
Although, sometimes I do have to open that one or some of my other old =
pst
files to hunt for some old email I need to check/reference/get address.

Sorry, I never did any type of import...mostly cos' it was so new and I
didn't trust it and didn't want to risk trashing all my important =
mail...so
I don't know what's up with the 3 copies!?!?!?!?!=20

OK...I just got a new computer and I have installed the beta of Office =
2003
on it....and I wanted to move all my Outlook 2002 mail and folders from =
my
old machine to my new machine so I could use them in Outlook 2003...so =
this
is what I did:

I copied my outlook.pst file from Outlook 2002 to a shared folder, then =
I
copied it from there (over my network) to my new computer and put it in =
the
default location for my outlook.pst file...I deleted the outlook.pst =
that
was installed with Outlook 2003 and replaced it with my Outlook 2002 pst
file....now, when I open Outlook 2003, I have all my stuff THREE =
TIMES...I
have a main folder called "Linda" (not called Outlook Today-[Linda] like =
it
is called in Outlook 2002), then I have another folder called Linda =
which
includes ALL of the same stuff....then I have a third folder called =
Personal
Folders which also includes ALL of the same stuff.....when I go into the
properties of these folders, they are all the same pst file, but it is
showing three times...."close" is grayed out on all of them so I can't =
get
rid of them....now, I would know how to fix this if it was three =
individual
pst files, but it's not...it's one pst file showing three times! =20

Is there anyway I can fix this? I've tried deleting the pst file and
bringing it in again and I still get three....is anyone else in here =
running
Outlook 2003 and can you tell me how I can correctly get my Outlook 2002 =
pst
file into Outlook 2003 without all this duplication?=20
