Thank you all so much... I'm like in a time warp... had my old computer for
two years... and just changing to a new one... haven't had to change all
these settings! Now I'm hoping I get my email transferred over! =)
Thanks again!
Camille

Open "My computer", Tools, folder options, View.
Remove check mark from the "Hide extensions form known file types."

Subject: [mso] extensions not showing
Hello, me again.
I'm transferring data to a computer and I loaded Office 2003 on the new
computer. I'm trying to set the settings like I have them on my old
computer, but can't figure out why when I "open" in Word, I don't see any
extensions after the file name like I used to. e.g., Camille.doc;
Camille.pdf; Camille.xls etc.; only the name "Camille" is showing.
Can someone tell me where to turn those back on? =)
Thanks!
Camille
