That's the default for new computer (default for WinXP). Go to Windows Explorer and click Tools > Folder Options > View and go through the settings. You'll see one for Hide Extensions. Uncheck it. I'm transferring data to a computer and I loaded Office 2003 on the new computer. I'm trying to set the settings like I have them on my old computer, but can't figure out why when I "open" in Word, I don't see any extensions after the file name like I used to. e.g., Camille.doc; Camille.pdf; Camille.xls etc.; only the name "Camille" is showing. Can someone tell me where to turn those back on? =) Thanks!
