while got around it by placing offending text lines in imbedded tables.

One of my favorite things to do is troubleshoot weird borders and lines in
Word documents....(I definitely need a life lol)....but it's real hard to do
via email....it would be MUCH faster and easier if you sent me the document
and let me play with it and send it back to you telling you what I did so
you may be able to do it in the future...but of course, if the document is
confidential, I understand..but if not, send it to me at
linda@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
But, before you do, try this: Hit ctrl+A to select the whole document, then
remove all borders..then try replacing the ones just on the text you
want...if that doesn't do it, feel free to send it to me.

Hi
I'm a new list member. I've got an MS Word 2000 problem. I'm editing a
document where the author has used text borders (Format / Borders and
Shading / Borders / Box / Apply to text) for some of the headings. Problem
is that in some places it copied this (style) on the last bullets of
paragraphs. No matter what I do (reapply; copy / paste; retype) I cannot get
rid of it. Any ideas?
