Click in a paragraph and then double-click the spelling and grammar icon in the status bar to check its settings. You can also protect a document. Try tools - protection (from memory - I am using Word 2007) and check if it is protected. kim 2009/10/13 <mccarthyhelper@xxxxxxx>: > If someone could provide an answer quickly, it would be highly appreciated.? > The Spell Checker is not checking something in the document called Protected > Text.?
