Any of a number of things can do this, but 2 of the most common are:
1) Different printers or printer setups
2) Different settings in the Normal.doc (margins and header/footer
spacing especially)

I would ask the person with the other computer to get the driver for the
printer you use and install it (you don't have to have the printer on
the system, just the driver). Then, select that printer as the printer
for Word. See if this changes the way the docs look. If it does, then
you will need to deal with it on a per-printer basis. If it doesn't,
then it is likely to be a setting within the Normal.doc. In this case,
you may be best off to explicitly set the page, margin, header, and
footer spacing in your document so that it doesn't default to the
information in Normal.doc

Let us know your results!

Subject: [mso] Word Paging Question

Has anyone ever run into a Word document that pages differently on
different computers? It looks okay on one computer, but on another, one
fits on one page runs over one or two lines onto a second page on the
second computer? Anyone know what causes this and how to fix it?

Thanks,
