I just tried that - doesn't work. You end up with an empty toolbar when Acrobat starts up. -----Original Message----- From: mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Linda F. Or else, you can go to the Options tab in the Customize box and set your Standard and Formatting toolbars to share one row and see if this helps our screen real estate Linda Publisher ~ ABC ~ All 'Bout Computers Owner ~ Linda's Computer Stop http://personal-computer-tutor.com FREE MS Office eBook Tutorial http://personal-computer-tutor.com/library.htm -----Original Message----- From: mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Diane.Rainaud@xxxxxx Sent: Friday, February 28, 2003 8:41 AM To: mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [mso] Word 2000 Toolbars Question Good morning, Have a toolbar question in Word 2000. After installing Adobe Acrobat on a new PC, a "Create Adobe PDF" toolbar was added to Word. Although it is technically a toolbar, it contains only one button. The problem is that when I open Word, since this single button is being treated as a toolbar it is being placed on a line of its own which of course wastes lots of screen real estate. It's annoying to have to move it every time I open Word so that it shares the same line as another toolbar . In IE, for example, there is an option to lock the toolbars. Is there such an option in Word that maybe I just haven't managed to find? Bottom line...is there a way for me to make this PDF toolbar/button stay put, either by locking its place or by somehow adding it to another toolbar? Thanks in advance for any help.
