If and when there is a "technology guarantee" offer...it usually goes =

the purchase date and not the activation. But you'll have to wait for =

And, if so, what will be the proof?
In English, I have purchased MSO XP 2002 but not yet installed or =
activated
it. In the past (unless I'm delusional), MS has counted backward from a
relase date and said something like, "If you buy X now we'll let you =
upgrade
to Y when it is released in three months!"
I never took advantage of that deal before but now that I might, will MS
want a receipt as proof? Or will the activation date be the key? If it =
is
the latter then I'll wait to install and activate my copy of XP 2002.
Ideas?
