Latest update: After 3 tries I was able to delete

Microsoft Works 2000
Word in Works Suite Add-in

However Microsoft Works 2000 Setup Launcher would not uninstall. It is on the
same CD with Word 2000 so it appears that this cannot be deleted??? Right?

I have Defragged, ran a Scan and restarted computer

So unless I hear otherwise I will assume that the Setup Launcher is to remain,
and the others are gone.

Hopefully after all this time... this will solve the Winword error. And the
Word 2000 SP patches will fix anything else.

Linda, Parker, Vic: I went to My Computer, Control Panel, Add/Install and
found the three works program. I clicked on each one and tried to unistall but
it keeps telling me to put in the CD Works Suite to install the Suite.

What else do I need to do to get the Works Add in off my computer?

Yep....my search found about the same thing as Vic found. That dll file
is a MS Works addin....here's what I found...and it's just like Vic
says....moving the file is the answer, I believe....read this:

Microsoft Works Suite is installed on your computer.=20

WORKAROUND: To work around this issue:=20
If the document is stored on a hard disk, move the document to the My =

If the document is stored on a floppy disk, create a new folder on the =

open the document.
