Up to Excel 2003 you select View on the Menu Bar, then Toolbars and choose what
you want to see. However, you may have inadvertently selected Full Screen,
which you can de-select from further down the FULL View dropdown.

In Excel 2010, try Esc which will also de-select Full Screen which is on the
left of the View ribbon.

Don't know when this change happened (never used 2007), but that should be a
starter for you!

Subject: [mso] Toolbar is missing

...or rather it is very limited....
I have seen this before but cannot remember to restore the standard toolbar on
an excell spreadsheet.

In document search mode it is working perfectly. When you the open the excell
spreadsheet your tool bar at the top is now limited to a box that shows the
cell you are currently in and the function tool is the remaining part of whats
leftt in the toolbox area. There is no option to right click anywhere in the
area and I have been unable to locate the anywhere where I can restore the
toolbox to defaults or similar.

Can anyone please assist

Thanks
