I don't know which user it is that uses some spam filter called new breed, but they sent me an email telling me they had blocked messages from mso...so I wrote to them and said this: _____________________ This is NOT spam...this is a support group for users of Microsoft Office, which this person joined VOLUNTARILY...why would you block mail from "freelists.org"? My newsletter also goes out from freelists.org and many spam filters block it...I assume because it contains the letters "free"? If you go to www.freelists.org you will see they are a very reputable website and none of the mail they send is spam. Could you please remove both mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx AND abcomputers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx from your filters so the people who subscribe can actually receive them? Or, better yet, you might want to approve the whole domain of freelists.org. Thank you. __________________________ And they replied and said this: ____________________________ I went back and checked my log file and I show that since 30 Aug. 03 the New Breed email server spam filter blocked 13 messages from mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx All of these messages were blocked because of adult language or adult material. Our spam filter associates these characteristics as possibly pornographic in nature. ________________________ Is that a riot or what? I guess we all better start using words like "gosh" and "golly gee" from now on LOL Anyway...if any members are not getting all of their mail, I suggest you check with your ISP and see exactly what they are blocking. Now we can't even say d*mn in a private email to someone? This is getting RIDICULOUS. Linda F.
