Please disregard - installed Outlook 2003 and was able to open the .pst = file using that. >>> cthomas@xxxxxxx 07/15/04 12:50PM >>> Hi all. Bear with me - I don't use Outlook (we're a Novell GroupWise =3D shop). An attorney in our Firm needs to recover e-mails of a client. He's =3D provided a CD with a .pst file on it. I copied the file to the local =3D disk, removed the read only attribute, then tried to import the file into = =3D Outlook, and tried to simply open the folder in Outlook. I get the =3D message that the "properties for this information service must be defined = =3D prior to use." I've tried using the inbox repair tool - to no avail. The file is =3D definitely not marked read only. I've checked Slipstick and several other = =3D group posts throughout the web - I'm out of ideas. Is there a way to recover these e-mails so I can print them off? Thanks for any help.
