your shiftkey and click on all the boxes so you have them all selected (little 
greycircles around them)...then go to the Format menu and 
chooseAutoshape...click on the Textbox tab and set your top and bottom margins 
asequal numbers and the text will appear to look centered vertically ...youmay 
have to fiddle with the numbers to get what you want, but as long as thetop and 
bottom numbers are the same, the text does appear to look centeredThat's about

I have just figured out where I was goingwrong and now realize that I have to 
enclose the entire 'branch' of thechart in a selection box in order to make 
changes to the format of thoseboxes in one hit! Now, If i can just find out how 
to align text verticallyin the center I shall be really happy! Thanks, Roger
