Both of my computers have got Microsoft Office 2003 installed. On my PC
I tried to download a template for publisher but received the message
that my computer does not have Publisher 2003 installed. That is not the
case as it is a part of Office 2003 and is very different to the 2000
version that was installed previously.
On my laptop which also has a similar setup the template downloaded ok.
where I work, we have problems like that when installations happen from
the network. our laptops are stand alone so their install is different
but our desktops are networked so the install files, pointers & sor
forth are on shared drives. we have to have our IT people tweak
sometimes to get apps to work.
