Thanks for your response Kathy. I do have it set up with two paths now and it seems to be working OK. Question though, You say to set up the 'flip' animation. However, it's greyed out for me when I'm trying to add that effect to clipart. It is available though if I add the 'flip' to a placeholder with text in it. Just curious if you're able to add the flip effect to clipart. Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Kathy Jacobs Sent: Wednesday, February 08, 2006 8:50 PM To: mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [mso] Re: PowerPoint 2002 custom animation It could be done with one path, but I wouldn't do it that way. You would need to set the flip animation to happen after a certain delay in the animation timeline. Since exact timing isn't one of PPT's strong suits, you would never be able to define exactly where the flip occurs. If, instead you use two paths, you can set the flip to happen before the start of the second motion path (think backwards here - you are really going to set the second motion path to start "after previous"). In this case, you define exactly where on the screen the flip will occur. Kathryn Jacobs, Microsoft MVP PowerPoint and OneNote Author of Kathy Jacobs on PowerPoint - Available now from Holy Macro! Is it possible to use custom animation so that the car can flip horizontal and continue on its journey. Currently, I am using 2 separate animated paths to do this and was curious if it could be done with 1 animation. Thank you. ************************************************************* You are receiving this mail because you subscribed to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or MicrosoftOffice@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To send mail to the group, simply address it to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To Unsubscribe from this group, send an email to mso-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word "unsubscribe" (without the quotes) in the subject line.
