Do you receive an error message from Outlook? I use Outlook '03 and very
rarely have a problem sending mail. When there is a problem there typically
is an error message.

I also use Norton AV and Norton Systemworks with no problems as well as Zone
Alarm.

Have you checked all your settings in Outlook as regards your send / receive
options. I would suggest checking there first.

Hope this helps.
