[This has an absolute minimum of research, so treat it accordingly.] AFAIK the signature is always placed at the end of the e-mail, although you can presumably move past it to type some extra (e.g. a PS). This would accord with the traditional concept of a signature in written communication. To put something at the top of a message, I would expect that you would define notepaper that has the appropriate heading, or otherwise use a mail template. I mostly use Outlook Express and haven't done either of these things with Outlook, but I expect that they would be there. However, give the concept serious thought. E-mails follow a fairly standard format, and top headers are not "normal". Don't risk alienating your customers with something that they have to bypass - when they are already aware of who it's from, from the "from". The size of a signature block doesn't matter much, because there's nothing below it that needs to be looked for, but a header that needs to be bypassed to get at the message?
