Thanks. I don't have Norton products (and I wouldn't--I think they are
crap), but I did have business Contact Manager, as other posts in that forum
discussed. I had installed Business Contact Manager with Office, but I never
actually had it--I had tutorials and Help, but the program never actually
was available. I don't know why. Anyway, deleting the data files didn't
help, so I simply uninstalled the program. Even though I never really had
the program, that seems to have worked.

I found something with this message and Norton Anti-Spam or NIS. Look at
this entry:

Subject: [mso] Outlook 2003 Managed MAPI error message

I'm constantly getting the following error message in Outlook 2003:

Managed MAPI Service Catastrophic Failure Could not initialize CLR Unknown
error

The error is more annoying than catastrophic. The message pops up eight or
so times in a row, and I have to click OK each time, but otherwise, Outlook
works fine. I can't find anyting on the Web about it. Any ideas?
