Thanks for going to all that trouble, James. I set each account up in a
separate group, and they still pop up "all at once" and freeze after I =
enter
the first password. I set them up with sequenced auto-check times, as =
Linda
suggested, so if I cancel the other three, they come back at separate =
times,
so I guess that is my work around for now. Maybe since the accounts and
settings transferred from 2000 when I installed XP, I will try deleting =
the
accounts and setting them up again. It is odd that no one else has
experienced this, though.

Am I the only one who has this problem?
=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D

While I have dozens of "accounts" (IMO, a terribly misnamed Outlook
feature), only 4 actually point to POP accounts to receive email.=20

Those are in one group.=20

I store the passwords so can't be "sure", Yet, as I watch the action, =
each
one seems to proceed serially. That is, each one starts when the prior =
one
stops.

So, to test, I "unstored" the password on all four.

Then, I disconnected and reconnected and did a send/receive.

Each account, in sequence, asked for password, polled the account, then
moved to the next account.

They did this serially and not "all at once".
