One way to make the change, Tia is as follows:

From the main Outlook Inbox window, click on the Address Book icon.
Then click on Tools, Options.
Then make the desired selection from the drop-down list in "Show this
address list first."=20

Hi there,

A question, is there anyway how to set a preference in the "select
addresses" dialog box that a particular list will be the default list
that shows when this dialog opens up. This is in a corporate environment
where there are a number of such "lists" in the select addresses dialog.

In Office 2000, there's an option in the "Tools->Services" menu item,
"Addressing" tab to "Show this address list first", and I could choose
my Contacts to display before the Global Address Book . What's the
parallel in Office XP?

Hope the question is clear enough

TIA
