Thank you Linda,
That worked like a charm, don't know how I didn't see that before-hand .

Open the Address book itself (Tools>Address Book or click on the "book" icon
on your toolbar in your Inbox, not within an email) Inside the Address book,
go to the Tools menu and click on Options. You will see the options there
to choose which Address book you want first, and what order they are in.

Subject: [mso] Outllook xp address book
Hi there,
A question, is there anyway how to set a preference in the "select
addresses" dialog box that a particular list will be the default list that
shows when this dialog opens up.
This is in a corporate environment where there are a number of such "lists"
in the select addresses dialog.
In Office 2000, there's an option in the "Tools->Services" menu item,
"Addressing" tab to "Show this address list first", and I could choose my
Contacts to display before the Global Address Book . What's the parallel in
Office XP?
Hope the question is clear enough
TIA
