[mso] Office 97

I am attempting to open an Excel file which Ineed to telecommute from home. No 
matter what I try Icannot get it to open other than with MS Works Excel, I need 
it to open with Excel.
I have tried saving with various extentions, nothing seems to work.


Any help would be great!
