Hi Group,

Thanks for the replies on how to accomplish this. It only took me all of
Monday to get this done. I learned alot, like how not to use this program when
I need something done right away. It really is a PITA. The office assistant
ended up being my biggest source of help (surprised me!).

I'll eventually get around to doing this again when I'm not pressed for time.
And this time I'll be sure to write everything down.

Thanks once again.

P.

Hopefully someone who has Office 97 installed can help you, P....since
I
don't, right now....but I could reinstall it, if no one chimes in to
help you, I guess.

I can only tell you that in Office 2000, in the Mail Merge dialog box,
where you choose your data source, one of the choices is Outlook
Contacts. Do you not have that choice in 97? I can't remember. Since
earlier versions of Office had SO many bugs when it came to merging
from
Outlook, I never really used it. I just made a group in Outlook and
sent the Word doc as an attachment...but since you are trying to do
this
with labels, obviously this isn't an option.

Finally, in Office XP, mail merges to Outlook Contacts actually seems
to
be bug free....but in the earlier versions it always caused problems.

Anybody out there have Office 97 installed? Can someone walk P thru
this? Is it different than Office 2000? I really can't remember.
