Hi Linda, I tried to do a mail merge. I got to the part where I needed to chose data source and got lost. I couldn't figure out how to bring my contacts in as the data source. Would you please give some direction. TIA, P. Date: Sat, 30 Nov 2002 14:31:42 -0500 From: "Linda F. Johnson" <linda@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [mso] Re: OL 97? Well, the way to do this is to use a Word mail merge and choose your Outlook Contacts as your address database. But, I'm sorry to tell you that Word/Outlook 97 has lots of bugs when you try to do this...it's better in 2000 and actually good in 2002...but that's where you have to go. You will see places in the Mail Merge to choose to create Mailing labels and to choose your Outlook contacts as your data source. Hi Group, I'm trying to figure out how, if it can be done, to put all the contacts I listed into word or what ms program that would allow me to put each name on a mailing label. Here's my situation: At work I had to create a list of contacts that our office would be inviting to our Xmas party. The thing was I thought since we'll be using the names for different reasons and fuctions it would be easier to put them in as a business contact and then I would be able to put a checkmark in whatever other field they fell into, ie: friend, personel... I'm using office 97 on a NT workstation. I am now trying to figure out how I can print each contact out on the same label sheet. I don not want to have to print each one one at a time, nor do I want to type each name and address over again. Not the world's fastest typist nor do I have the time to do this. I hope this makes sense. Any and all help would be appreciated, as this solution is needed before I go back to work on Monday 12/2/02. --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
