I only have one check box, the one for emptying. I am currently using MS OL
2000.

On my, under Tools, Option, Other tab, right next to the word general
are two check boxes, one for emptying the deleted items folder and one
for making Outlook the Default program. Maybe it has to do with the
version of Outlook you are using?

Ok. I was able to get my msn address book imported.
When I click on Tools, Options and then Other the only options I have
three options - General, AutoArchive and PreviewPane. I looked in
general and it is not there. Thank you so much for your help. Angie

Click on Tools, Options, Other and check mark the box next to Make
Outlook the default mail client. =3D20

I've never tried to import from MSN, but if you can export your MSN
address book to something I'm guessing that Outlook can read it. If you
go to file, Import, it will give you the import file type options. I
would look through those, see what types it can accept and then
determine what you can do on the MSN side.

Ok, I guess that I'm not making myself very clear. I am completely not
worried about Outlook Express. I am using Microsoft Outlook which is
part of Office. I want to use it for all my email. I want to know how to
make it my default mail and I was wanting to know if there is a way to
import my "MSN" address book to "Microsoft Outlook". Angie Humphrey
