Not sure what you're asking, but if you want to learn more about
creating macros (programming in VBA) and building userform (dialog
boxes) and/or AutoForms (online forms) I have a lot of info on my web
site at www.mousetrax.com/techpage.html#autoforms.

I've also published an eBook called Word AutoForms and Beginning VBA
where I teach you all about input boxes, message boxes and dialog boxes,
as well as how to gather info and distribute it to a form. Another eBook
I just put out, Word Advanced Techniques, go into all the other features
at an advanced level of understanding, such as tables, autotext,
watermarks, newsletter, books, into to VBA, etc. You can download and
sample both at www.mousetrax.com/books.html.

And you should also check out my online magazine, TechTrax Ezine
(www.mousetrax.com/techtrax/). In particular, I have an article called
Creating Custom Dialog boxes which shows you how to build your own
custom dialogs (user forms) and link to VBA code (macros). See this link
to go directly to that article:
http://pubs.logicalexpressions.com/Pub0009/LPMArticle.asp?ID=15

And yes, it's most likely a custom dialog box with VBA to carry out
whatever options you've selected. A better understanding of the whole
process, which you can get at various levels from all the links above,
will get you rolling to doing your own.

Good luck, yell if you need any further info.

Subject: [mso] Newbie and a question

Hi...i'm new to the group, self employed and work for solicitors most of
the time, and always trying to make my life easier in Word (even if they
dont!
LOL!)

Anyway, i am working somewhere at the moment where they have what i
presume to be a macro on the tool bar...when I fiddled (as i do) it came
up with a box with fax, copy, and draft...then the document was
watermarked which I liked!! Sooo ive been doing some digging and got
myself totally confused...i have created basis macros with a copy and a
draft and put the buttons on the toolbar....but is this a userform type
or a combo box or a message box? Any help would be greatly appreciated
:)) the computer techs at the workplace reckon its all a macro, but i
dont think so ...

I did find the userform lesson at mvp ..which i am still struggling
with..but it wont beat me...but i think i might be approaching this the
wrong way !
