[mso] MsWord Hyperlinks Don't Work After Moving Documents

I have a large number of word documents with a few hyperlinks in each of
them.
The 'relative hyperlinks' stop working when the documents are moved 'en
masse' to another folder,
even though the hyperlink target files remain in their original location.
(Opening and then saving the documents to the new location works ok, but
that takes a lot of time.)

MsWord seems to allow absolute addressing only if the target file is located
on a different server.
It appears to always want some sort of relative addressing otherwise.
(Either using the Property->Base Hyperlink or the current location.)

How can I force absolute addressing in an MsWord Hyperlink?
