It sounds as though the application (Office 2007 and/or Word 2000) have not been activated on that computer and, perhaps the trial period has expired. Try Activating word using Office button, Word Options, Resources, Activate Microsoft Office for Office 2007 I am not sure where you get to it with word 2000 - perhaps it is on the help menu or tools.
